What a week it's been.
We are absolutely loving settling into our new home, and honestly, the warmth we've felt from this community has made the whole move worth it ten times over. Between new neighbours popping in to say hello, well wishes from customers and friends old and new, and the most gorgeous bunch of flowers from Krystie — our wonderful neighbour just diagonally across the roundabout and clock — it's been the kind of welcome that makes you fall in love with Mudgee all over again.
Thank you, truly, to everyone who has dropped by, sent a message, or simply smiled and said "you're looking wonderful in here." The shop itself is coming together beautifully, a little more organised each day, with new arrivals continuing to land on our shelves. There is something so satisfying about watching a space find its rhythm, and we can't wait for you to come in and see it for yourself.

One of our favourite arrivals this week is a fresh drop from our beloved grain sack collection — aprons, tea towels, and home accessories, all with that beautiful timeworn, European-inspired texture we can't get enough of. These pieces have that lovely "always been there" quality, perfect for layering into a kitchen or laundry that already has its own story to tell.

From the Streets of Jaipur
This one has a story behind it I can't wait to share. While wandering the streets of Jaipur, I stumbled across some of the most beautiful notecards I'd ever seen — naturally, I tracked down their Instagram, sent a message, and arranged to visit the factory in person while I was there.
What makes this stationery so special is the paper itself: made entirely from recycled cotton, the off-cuts from the same stunning textiles this maker is known for, then block printed and hand-stitched into notebooks and cards, with even the envelopes lined in matching paper. A beautiful story behind an even more beautiful product, and we now have our very first drop in store.

PS — whichever camp you're in, one rule is non-negotiable: always choose a plump feather inner. It's the secret to a cushion that not only looks its best, however you style it, but feels luxurious every time you sink into it.
